Baby Bedding FAQ

Do you sell fabric by the yard for my DIY project?

We do! Every fabric is available by the yard in increments of one yard or more. Click here for fabric by the yard. We ship in 24 to 48 hours.

Can I get a swatch, and how much does it cost?

We want you to love your Liz and Roo products right from the start, so unlike other companies, we don’t charge for swatches! We’re happy to send a swatch of our fabric to you via regular mail at no charge. If you want a swatch or swatches sent rush, we can ship USPS Priority for their $5 shipping cost. The swatches will arrive in 1 to 3 days, depending on your location.

Do you sell separates?

We do! We sell crib sheets, crib skirts, crib rail covers, crib blankets, changing pad covers, car seat carrier covers, and baby pillows as separates. We also offer curtains and valances as special order. To browse our collection of separates, just click here.

Do You Offer Mix and Match?

We have so many collections that can be mixed together with beautiful results! We offer a full line of gray, navy, ecru (tan), blush pink, white, black, and gender neutral separates that can mix and match. We also have a variety of faux fur blankets, crib rail covers, and crib sheets that perfectly complement our crib bedding. You can buy single pieces or the entire set. Choose from our all cotton crib bedding or our linen blend crib bedding options. Shop our separates here, or browse our Mix and Match by color and theme here.

What is a Convertible Crib?

Convertible cribs have a versatile design that will last for years. They do just what they say – convert to a toddler bed and then a full-size (or queen-size) bed that grows with your child. In each stage, the frame provides the perfect bed size for your little one.

As a daybed, your toddler will love snuggling up with his or her stuffed animals at nap time. As a toddler bed, there is typically a small railing that keeps your toddler safe from falling and gives your child a sense of security. As your child grows, you can convert the crib into a full-size or queen-size bed that’s perfect for when he or she goes off to college. A convertible crib is an investment worth making when buying your first crib.

Why do I need a rail cover for my crib?

Because your crib is an investment, it’s important that you protect the beautiful wood. A rail cover is a must-have for your crib and protects the wood against teething. It also protects your baby from ingesting wood slivers during teething. Liz and Roo manufactures crib rail covers to coordinate with all our baby bedding designs. Crib rail covers can be personalized with a monogram, too.

Crib rail covers are a safe alternative to bumpers, which are not recommended by the American Society of Pediatrics. While this decision is certainly up to the individual family, at Liz and Roo we offer all our baby bedding as “bumperless crib bedding sets”. We make a variety of crib rail covers for convertible cribs in every fabric, including both patterns and solids.
